Bonelogic® CMF Orbital is regulated as a Class I medical device.  The software conforms to the European Union Directive on medical devices (93/42/EEC) and three international standards covering risk management, usability and software life-cycle processes. Due to the regulatory requirements in individual markets, Disior® Bonelogic® CMF Orbital software is available as a medical device in the EU. A research version is available in countries where regulatory registration of Bonelogic® CMF Orbital software has not been obtained.
